surface-tiling curve labyrinth

Is it a maze or a labyrinth? This topic was brought up at the opening where this piece made its debut. I’m pretty sure it’s a labyrinth but either way it’s easy to get lost in there.

This piece was made by first connecting the ends of a surface-tiling curve segment (the section of a curve that would cover one face of a cube, shown here in white), and then filling in the gaps with two other branching lines (yellow and orange).

This departs quite a bit from the purpose of a surface-tiling curve, which is to tile the surface of a regular polyhedron with a single space-filling curve that makes its way on to multiple planes, but what can I say, I like the look of it.
